Dependiendo del trayecto es preferible un longboard largo o corto.
Para moverse por la ciudad, las tablas cortas son muy prácticas, ya que te permiten moverte con facilidad, esquivar obstáculos fácilmente y su tamaño reducido las hace muy tranportables.
Para trayectos largos y paseos marítimos son recomendables tablas más largas por su gran estabilidad.
